The Study
Created by Max von Stephanitz as the ideal herding dog, the German Shepherd became the benchmark for versatility: police and military work, search and rescue, guide duties and devoted guardianship. The breed bonds intensely with its family and is naturally protective, making early, thorough socialisation essential.
Care & Keeping
Demands daily physical and mental work — obedience, tracking or sport. The double coat sheds year-round with heavy seasonal blows. Reputable breeding matters greatly for hip and temperament health.
