The Study
Treasured since Roman times and immortalised in Renaissance portraits, the Italian Greyhound is a true sighthound in miniature. It can sprint at remarkable speed, yet its greatest talent is decorative devotion — curling into the smallest warm space available, preferably under a blanket with its person. The breed is sensitive to cold, to rough handling and to raised voices, responding best to gentle, patient training.
Care & Keeping
Short bursts of sprinting satisfy its exercise needs; a warm coat is essential outdoors in winter. Fine bones require care around larger dogs. Dental hygiene deserves particular attention.
